How to Reach Mathura Vrindavan 

By Train: Mathura Junction (MTJ) is on the Delhi-Mumbai and Delhi-Chennai main lines. Trains from Delhi take 1.5 to 2 hours. From Agra (Agra Cantt), the journey is 35-45 minutes. Vrindavan has no direct rail station  the nearest is Mathura Junction, 12 km away.

By Road: From Delhi: 160 km via Yamuna Expressway, approximately 2.5-3 hours. From Agra: 58 km, approximately 1 hour. From Jaipur: 250 km via NH-21, approximately 4 hours.

By Air: Nearest airport is Agra (Pandit Deen Dayal Upadhyaya Airport), 58 km. Delhi IGI Airport is 165 km.

Within the Mathura-Vrindavan Circuit:

• Mathura to Vrindavan: 12 km, 30-45 minutes by e-rickshaw or cab depending on traffic at Chhatikara Road junction.

4. Krishna Janmabhoomi takes 45-75 minutes for security alone on busy days. All mobiles, electronics and bags larger than a small purse must be deposited at the cloak room before entry. Between 8:00 AM and 11:00 AM, the cloak room queue alone takes 25-40 minutes.

5. Aarti timing is non-negotiable  your itinerary works around it, not the other way around. The Mangala Aarti at ISKCON (4:30 AM) and the Shayan Aarti at Banke Bihari (9:00-9:30 PM in summer) are the spiritual centrepieces of Braj. A 9 AM to 6 PM tour misses both.
